My name is Rene, and I co-own a VW T3 Kombi which was converted into a camper van some 20 years ago.
It is a 1990 1.9 WBX, which runs on “essence”, so we don’t have too much trouble with environmental zones yet.

Someone opened up the can, euh : van. So the existing, closed roof was cut open by the previous owner who did the camper conversion.
This van started her life as a company vehicle used for transporting people by Pechiney in the harbour of Vlissingen, the Netherlands. It was converted to a camper van in 2006.
